New rules of UEFA champions league new pot system

‼️ π—’π—™π—™π—œπ—–π—œπ—”π—Ÿ: The pots for each team that qualified for the 2025/26 Champions League season. UEFA will conduct the draw tomorrow Thursday at 18:00 CET!

π— π—˜π—–π—›π—”π—‘π—œπ—¦π— :

β–ͺ️ Each team will play eight matches (four home and four away).

β–ͺ️ Each team will face two opponents from each pot.
β–ͺ️ Teams ranked 1st-8th automatically advance to the round of 16.

β–ͺ️ Teams ranked 9th-24th advance to the playoff round to compete for the eight remaining spots.

β–ͺ️ Teams ranked 25th-36th are eliminated and no longer have a Europa League berth.

β–ͺ️ Due to the complexity of this draw (requiring up to 1,000 balls), if the draw is to be conducted as usual, it will be computerized.

β–ͺ️Every club will get eight league stage opponents, two from each of the four pots.

β–ͺ️ If a knockout match is tied after regular time, instead of playing extra time, the match would go directly to a penalty shootout.

β–ͺ️Teams ranked in the top 8 (presumably after the league phase) would play the second leg of their knockout ties at home, giving them a potential advantage.

β–ͺ️Clubs from the same country would not be allowed to face each other until the quarterfinal stage or later.
