Jennik sinner became the only fourth man to reach all finals in a single year

Top seed and World No.1 Jannik Sinner was made to work hard by No.25 seed Felix Auger-Aliassime in the second semi-finals of the 2025 US Open Tennis Championships.

After losing the first set with a breadstick, the 25-year-old Aliassime played aggressive and magnificent tennis to take the second, but was unable to pull off an upset win in his quest to reach the Championship match at Flushing Meadows, New York for the second time. Anyway, that was a great effort from the Canadian who was playing great tennis this season.

Sinner seemed to have suffered some sort of wriggle on his right shoulder and had to make a medical time-out when the score was One Set apiece. However, he came back and served clutch to save some very crucial break-points ( all 5 of them) in the 4th set👍

If Jannik continues to have his injury concerns, it will be difficult for him to defend his title here playing against 5-time Slam winner Carlos Alcaraz who hadn’t lost a single set in this entire tournament.

Sinner is now only the fourth player in the “Open Era” to have reached the finals of all four Grand Slam events in a Calendar Year after Rod Laver, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic

BIG Congratulations to Jannik👏👏
